Graduating from Toronto Metropolitan ​University with a Bachelor of ​Architectural Science degree, Lisa Apps ​began her career working at a large-​scale residential design firm in Toronto. ​Gaining over a decade of experience in ​this sector, she established the ​architectural design studio Merner Row ​Design in 2019. Her design philosophy ​focuses on creating timeless, narrative-​driven spaces that reflect clients' ​aspirations and values, as well as ​emphasizing sustainability and the ​preservation of building materials.

Lisa is a registered building practitioner ​with a BCIN for homes and small ​buildings.
